A. After the safety gear is installed or overhauled, no tests and adjustments have been made, resulting in failure to reach an effective operating position, or the safety gear on both sides cannot be synchronized. That is, there is a sequence between the safety gear on one side of the car and the safety gear on the other side of the car, or the gap between the wedge of the safety gear on the side of the car and the side of the guide rail is too large. Stop the car, causing the car to fall;

B. The surface friction coefficient of the sliding jaws of the safety gear is reduced. If the actual friction force between the safety gear wedge and the side of the guide rail is less than the force required to act on the guide rail during the action of the safety gear;

C. The dirt and rust on the safety gear cannot be repaired and cleaned in time; the selection of safety gear and the speed of the elevator do not comply with the national standards;

In addition, failure to comply with the elevator's rated load (number of members) will cause serious overloading; the deviation of the estimated weight of the cargo is large and the overloading may cause a dangerous situation.
